01Define the boundary
Identify the actor, target resource and operation that compliance & audit is meant to govern.
02Configure the policy
Map each requirement to an owner, an enforceable configuration, a review cadence and a record that demonstrates operation. Keep product behavior, organizational policy and external certification claims clearly separated.
03Exercise the edge cases
A reviewer selects a privileged access requirement, identifies the role and network restrictions, then verifies the related audit evidence and exception process. Also test the path that should be denied, deferred or sent for review.
04Review the outcome
Check that the resulting state is understandable and that the decision can be investigated later. For audit-enabled operations, confirm the relevant actor and context are captured.
